Variety Is The Spice Of An Effective Weight Loss Strategy

Usually, when a person buys a piece of exercise equipment they expect it to be a fun yet effective way to reach their targeted body weight. No one thinks that using the same stationary type of equipment three to five times a week for months on end will grow endlessly repetitive. The reality is, unless you put some sort of variety into your exercise routine, you will end up bored and restless. That’s why the best weight loss exercises are a conglomerate of strength training, cardiovascular and core based  routines. This is not to say that treadmills, elliptical machines and rowers are not great as supplements, it just means that basing your entire exercise session on just one thing will ultimately lead to a plateau.

Try implementing a different workout routine each time you workout, but make sure that you warm up and cool down the same way each time. Make up a schedule like aerobics on Mondays, strength training on Wednesdays and core exercises on Fridays. Not only will this help you to stave off boredom, you will also reap the benefits of exercising your body in a different manner. Feel free to stick with any routine that you fancy, just be sure to punch it up at any point that the exercises themselves no longer feel challenging.
